Carer Personal Assistant Direct Payment, Woodthorpe of Nottingham, NOTGS2301

This position is supporting a male in the Woodthorpe area of Nottingham

The role is to support a 28 year old male who is charming, fun loving, loves a joke, enjoys gaming and supports Manchester United.

You will encourage and promote his independence. This role will involve maintaining a young male’s social life, which includes visiting pubs and going to football matches, daily trips to town, cinema and sporting events.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, energetic, fun-loving and positive, also able to use own initiative and learn routines quickly. This young male has full cognitive ability but is unable to show this physically due to having a stroke and is looking for an individual to provide a level of care but also companionship.

Must be able to handle the physical skills of lifting, handling, pushing and bending. Experience of care work would be beneficial but full training will be given. You must also not be afraid of dogs.

This is a permanent contract.

Working Hours – 10 hours per week, flexible on days and times of delivery

Benefits 
Salary: £11.45 per hour

5.6 weeks pro rata holiday allowance
