12-hour Day Shifts | Three 1.5 & 1-hour Calls between 7am and 7pm - Part-time / Full-time Available

About our Client

Our client is an active, ambitious, independent lady, who is a working medical professional and lives with a complex neurological condition and other long-term health needs, including respiratory support needs. She requires a small, consistent team who can deliver care with dignity, calm communication and respectful collaboration. This is a rewarding, relationship-based role supporting someone to live independently and meaningfully.

Main duties include:

  • Personal care (including bowel management) and support with daily routines.
  • Supporting safe use of a non-invasive ventilator (NIV) overnight
  • Repositioning, transfers, assisted walking and physiotherapy exercises
  • Supporting airway clearance using NIPPY Clearway / cough assist
  • Supporting meals, hydration and medication (dysphagia-aware support)
  • Monitoring wellbeing and escalating concerns (e.g. respiratory changes)
  • Supporting the client’s hobbies and home life (baking, gardening, household tasks)
  • Accurate documentation and team communication
  • Support going on outings during the day or evenings, these maybe social or work related, i.e. conferences and occasions during these trips you may be required to have an overnight stay.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience supporting adults with complex care needs (including personal care)
  • Confidence with manual handling / mobility support
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • A calm, reliable and emotionally intelligent approach
  • Clean UK driving license and be over 21 (to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle)
  • Enhanced DBS and references (required)
  • Non-smoker
  • Female

Desirable (but training will be provided):

  • Care Certificate / NVQ Level 2+
  • Experience supporting NIV and airway clearance equipment
  • Experience driving a mobility-adapted vehicle
  • Live in the local area

Have flexibility to provide cover for 1 hour calls

Pay rates:

  • Monday to Friday 7am to 10pm: £14.30 per hour
  • Waking nights 10pm to 7am: £18.59 per hour
  • Weekend Rate : £18.59
  • Holiday pay included as per statutory entitlement
