Carer Personal Assistant, Browtowe of Nottingham NG8, NOTNT0305

This position is supporting a male in the Browtowe area of Nottingham.

The role consists of supporting a male with Schizoaffective Disorder living in his own home. He has a vacancy for a Personal Assistant to work 4 hours a week.

He will need medication prompts twice a day, assistance organising his admin/paper work and day to day life, assist with general cleaning duties and laundry, possibly food preparation, shopping and supporting in social situations, occasional personal hygiene prompts and encouragement to exercise and help with gym/exercising equipment. Accompanying to medical appointments is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will have experience with mental health and have an understanding, caring, positive and calm manner. Must be able to use own initiative and learn routines quickly. Experience of care work would be beneficial but full training will be given.

Working Hours – 4 hours per week Monday and Thursday – days can be discussed.

Benefits 
Salary: £10.76 per hour

5.6 weeks pro rata holiday allowance
