Registered Paediatric Nurse - Critical Care in the Community

ATTENTION ALL PAEDIATRIC NURSES! Would you like the opportunity to focus on one patient and deliver true Person Centred Care?

This maybe the role for you, as you will be delivering 1-2-1 care within a home environment.  We are looking for a nurse with a traditional skillset who can make clinical decisions when working autonomously.  You must be able to assess presenting symptoms holistically and identify and read the cues of an nonverbal child with challenging and rapidly changing complex medical needs.

No two days are the same in this role, but they are rewarding, and your nursing role extends to all aspects of the child’s life.

This role presents a unique opportunity to gain a diverse range of experience, skills and training as you will be providing support for respiratory, seizure management, dystonia, pain and gut/bowel.

You will be joining a team of nurses to deliver 24/7 critical care delivered under the guidance and supervision of a senior practicing Clinical Lead.  This is not an Agency Role.

Due to the nature of the client’s needs and respiratory conditions all applicants must speak and be able to write in good clear English and be a Non-Smoker.

You must be Pediatric qualified Nurse with a minimum of 3 years practice.  Disability nurses and newly qualified nurses will not be shortlisted due to the nature of the position.  Adult nurses with an extensive pediatric experience maybe considered so please do apply.

Shifts 11 hours am and pm across Monday to Sunday

Salary  £71,350.50 (37.5 hrs per rota)

Bank Holidays paid at 1.5

Pension 3% Employer Contribution

Holiday Leave 4 Weeks & 8 Bank Holidays
