Female Healthcare Assistant – Misterton (Doncaster Area) – TPTW20250731

Part-Time | 6 Hours per Day | 9am–3pm | Weekdays

We are looking for a female Healthcare Assistant to support a lady in her 30s, based in the Misterton area near Doncaster. This is a daytime support role, providing one-to-one assistance and companionship from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

Our client is working towards building her strength, independence, and confidence—both at home and within the local community. She enjoys baking, art and crafts, photography, spending time with her children and getting out for a coffee – we are seeking someone who shares similar interests and brings positive energy to the role.

An individual with a good sense of humour, who is proactive with a friendly personality is essential. The successful candidate must be comfortable in the presence of animals, as our client has a pet cat.

It is important that those supporting our client have a good understanding of neurological conditions and their impact – to be able to encourage and support when necessary but also appreciate the need to rest and recover. Responsibilities will include providing assistance with physical activities, accompanying the client to physiotherapy sessions, and supporting them in following their prescribed exercise routines at home.

Your role will involve offering engaging support both at home and out in the community. You’ll assist with daily activities, light household tasks, and personal care, while also providing thoughtful support around the client’s neurological conditions, mental health, and overall wellbeing.

Requirements:

• Female applicants only
• Must speak clear English
• Driver with access to own vehicle
• Warm, engaging, and confident in supporting someone on their journey to independence
• Care experience is desirable but not essential – we value the right attitude and personality most
• Knowledge or experience of neurological conditions is an advantage
• Applicants must live locally or be able to travel reliably to Misterton

Benefits 
Hourly Rate - £12.92

5.6 weeks pro rata holiday allowance and pension
